Load is not just about minutes

Intensity, accelerations, changes of direction, contacts, surface, strength training, sleep, travel, and stress all combine. The same training session represents a different dose depending on the athlete.

GPS data or questionnaires are useful if they inform a decision; they are neither mandatory nor perfectly objective.

A common language with the club

A simple sheet can specify authorized content, content not yet exposed to, the expected knee response, and who to contact. "Adapted training" must be described concretely.

After an interruption, the total load and consecutive sequences deserve as much attention as the first match.

    Frequently asked question

Does fatigue make any test invalid?

It changes what is being observed. Depending on the question, the team tests in a fresh state or the ability to maintain quality under controlled fatigue.
